WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH – Drivers traveling
on the U.S. 76 Bridge over Banks Channel should be alert for temporary lane
closures, starting Monday, June 4.
The closures are needed to allow N.C. Department of Transportation
crews to safely perform scheduled bridge inspection and maintenance work.
The lane closures will take place
between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night through June 27. Motorists may encounter
delays through the inspection site.
