***EDITORS NOTE*** Engineers Put Saturday Brine Work on Hold Due to Changing Forecast:

details:The N.C. Department of Transportation will host a media availability this afternoon for a briefing on winter weather response across the Triad.

NCDOT’s Division 7 Maintenance engineer will be available for questions and a demo for b-roll will be provided. Comments will be made starting promptly at 1 p.m. B-roll opportunities will be available immediately following those comments.

Media outlets should arrive no later than 12:40 a.m. Please note that this will be the only time on-camera interviews will be available today, unless the forecast or NCDOT storm response changes substantially.
