WINSTON-SALEM – Pavement repairs and
replacements along the right southbound lane of Silas Creek Parkway between
Robinhood Road and Yorkshire Road will slow traffic for two days on Monday, Jan.
29, and Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Winston-Salem.
Lane
closures will take place daily between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.; weather permitting.
“While the entire road will not close, drivers should
anticipate slowdowns during their commute while crews work to restore sunken
pavement slabs and potholes in this area,” said Division 9 Engineer Pat Ivey.
Transportation officials remind motorists to stay alert
and obey the posted speed limit when traveling through work zones.
