Public Input Welcomed for Proposed Cleveland County Roundabout

KINGS MOUNTAIN – The N.C. Department of Transportation invites the public to an informal, drop-in style meeting next week to learn more about proposed improvements to the intersection of Margrace Road and Kings Boulevard in Kings Mountain. The proposal calls for a roundabout to be built at the intersection later this year.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kings Mountain City Hall, 101 W. Gold Street.  Interested citizens may attend the meeting at any time, as no formal presentation will be made. For residents who cannot attend the meeting, comments can be submitted in writing, by phone or email through June 21.

Representatives of the project team will be at the meeting to gather public input and answer questions.
