CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a
public meeting next week regarding a proposed project to improve traffic flow on
East Broad Street between Vine Street and Signal Hill Drive in
Statesville.
The meeting will be
held on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Statesville Fitness and Activity Center, 1875
Simonton Road, from 4 to 7 p.m. Interested citizens are welcome to attend the
meeting at any time to ask questions and submit comments about the proposed
design, as no formal presentation will be made. For residents who cannot attend
the meeting, comments can be submitted in writing, by phone or email through
Feb. 13.
