Public Meeting Scheduled for Proposed Interchange Conversion

RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting this week regarding a proposed project to convert the interchange on I-440/U.S. 1 at Wake Forest Road in Raleigh to a diverging diamond interchange.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, May 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the North Raleigh Hilton, 3415 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh. Interested residents may attend at any time during the meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to comments regarding the project. Comments may also be submitted via phone, email, or mail by June 1. Comments received will be taken into consideration as the project develops.
