WINSTON-SALEM — N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will continue to close lanes along Peters Creek Parkway for work related to the Business 40 Improvement Project in Winston-Salem.
"This work includes vegetation clearing, and grading of the land between Academy Street and 1st Street, and will be completed in intervals based on project scheduling," said NCDOT Resident Engineer Mezak Tucker.
The next round of lanes closures will take place daily from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., from Wednesday March 21, to Friday, April 20.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert, slow down in the work zone and obey the posted speed limit.
