GREENSBORO – N.C. Department of Transportation contract
crews will close the Interstate 785/840 ramp while crews reconstruct an aging
portion of the U.S. 70 (Burlington Road) Eastbound tie in along the Greensboro Urban
Loop project route.
Crews will close the ramp starting at 8 p.m. on
Friday, April 27. Reconstruction work will be completed, weather permitting, by
6 a.m. on Monday, April 30.
During the ramp closure, drivers will be detoured
around construction along Mt. Hope Church Road.
Transportation
officials advise drivers to watch signs for construction information, stay alert
and obey the posted speed limit.
