WAXHAW – Motorists will soon be able to
drive through a roundabout at the intersection of Providence Road South and N.C.
200 south of Waxhaw. Construction is scheduled to get underway Wednesday, May
30, weather permitting.
The contractor, Blythe Development Co, of Charlotte, will close the
intersection through the end of August to build the roundabout.
Motorists traveling south on Providence Road South will be detoured
along Brady Road, Potter Road and Harkey Road. Northbound traffic will follow
the detour in reverse.
