HENDERSON – Sections of roadway north of
Henderson in Vance County are closed to traffic in both directions due to high
water obstructing the roadway.
The closures include: Nutbush Road near N.C. 39, Anderson Creek
Road near Satterwhite Point Road, and Jacksontown Road near Farmwood Lane
Road.
After the high waters have receded, engineers will inspect the
roads to ensure they are safe before opening them to traffic.
