PILOT MOUNTAIN – Replacement of a drainage pipe will affect access to a Stokes County roadway for several weeks.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a portion of Wilson Road near Mitchell Road at 7 a.m. Monday. The road is expected to reopen the afternoon of Friday, April 26.
A signed detour will be in place during the closure, following Mitchell, Pilot-Westfield and McDaniel roads.
Drivers should use caution near the work zone and expect extra travel times because of the detour.
