KERNERSVILLE – A detour will be in place next week while the N.C. Department of Transportation repairs a damaged drainage pipe in Forsyth County.
A section of Twin Creek Road will be closed from 7 a.m. on March 25 until 4 p.m. on March 29 so NCDOT Bridge Maintenance crews can construct a headwall for the damaged pipe.
A signed detour will help traffic navigate around the closure, using Macy Grove Road, Kernersville Medical Parkway, N.C. 66 and Bunker Hill-Sandy Ridge Road.
Drivers should use caution near the work zone and allow for extra travel times because of the detour.
