PINK HILL- A section of a Lenoir County road will be closed for two days this week for maintenance work.
Nobles Mill Road, northeast of Pink Hill, will be closed between 8 a.m. April 23 and 4 p.m. April 24. Within the 1/10th of a mile work zone, the N.C. Department of Transportation will replace a crossline pipe in advance of resurfacing the road later this year.
During the two-day closure, traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 258 and Jonestown Road. Drivers should anticipate needing extra time and use caution when approaching the work zone.
