GASTONIA – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close two ramps on Wednesday, May 15 to inspect two flyover bridges that take U.S. 74 over I-85, just west of Gastonia.
The closures be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and affect these two areas:
A detour will take drivers on I-85 North to exit 13 (Edgewood Road). Drivers will turn left and continue back to I-85 South, then taking exit 10B to access U.S. 74 West.
Drivers on U.S. 74 West will detour to N.C. 161, making a left turn to continue to U.S. 74 East, returning to I-85 South.
