All N.C. Ferry Routes Now Closed Due to Hurricane Dorian

​​North Carolina ferries secured at the State Shipyard in Manns Harbor, NC. All ferry routes are now suspended due to Hurricane Dorian.​

​MANNS HARBOR – Due to deteriorating weather conditions caused by the approach of Hurricane Dorian, the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division suspended operations on the Currituck-Knotts Island ferry route at 3 p.m. today. As of now, all of the Ferry System’s seven regular routes are closed.

Ferry Division managers will monitor weather conditions and resume service on each route as soon as it is safe to do so.
