COLUMBIA – Due to required equipment maintenance, the Alligator River Bridge on U.S. Highway 64 between Tyrrell and Dare counties will close briefly at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The bridge will be closed to both vehicular and marine traffic.
The maintenance is routine and is expected to take between 15 and 30 minutes.
