KINSTON - A section of a Lenoir County road will close for approximately three days next week while the N.C. Department of Transportation replaces a pipe damaged during Hurricane Florence.
Between 8 a.m. Oct. 28 and 5 p.m. Oct. 30, Longleaf Pine Drive, near Dobbs Farm Road, will be closed. NCDOT crews will replace a crossline pipe.
Drivers who use the road north of Kinston will follow the posted detour signs to get around the closure. NCDOT recommends drivers giving themselves extra time for their commute and urges them to use caution near the construction.
