RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation's contractor for the Capital Boulevard bridges project has planned a pair of double-lane closures for this weekend to shift traffic to its final pattern.
On Saturday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., two of the three southbound lanes will be closed between Lane Street and Wade Avenue.
During the same hours on Sunday and along the same stretch, two of the three northbound lanes will be closed.
The closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
Drivers should allow extra time and pay extra attention while driving through the work zone.
