RALEIGH – Crews will soon begin work on the Triangle Expressway, including paint removal and aesthetic maintenance to structure and bridge components. This work includes removing an exterior staining and applying an anti-graffiti coating. Crews are expected to finish this work in early 2021.
Periodic lane closures are expected throughout this project but will not take place during peak travel times in the mornings and afternoons.
Please remember to slow down and pay attention in work zones, which are marked by warning signs in advance of the maintenance work areas.
