RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation's contractor for the Capital Boulevard project downtown has planned several closures for Saturday as the final paving of the stretch between Lane Street and Wade Avenue begins.
On Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., two of the three lanes in both directions.
The ramps from northbound Capital Boulevard to Wade Avenue and the ramp to northbound Capital Boulevard from Wade Avenue will also be closed.
Detours will direct drivers to Peace Street and Glenwood Avenue.
Drivers should allow extra time to navigate the detour and slow down and pay attention throughout the work zone.
