HILLSBOROUGH – An Orange County road is scheduled to close for a few days next week while Norfolk Southern crews repair a railroad trestle.
Old N.C. 10 is set to close between Dove Creek Road and Spruce Pine Trail from 7 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Traffic will be directed to follow U.S. 70 Business and Mt. Herman Church Road to bypass the closure.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working near the rail crossing and watch for signage for the detour.
