THOMASVILLE – State transportation contractors plan to close a ramp tonight as part of the ongoing pavement rehabilitation project on Interstate 85 in Davidson County.
Weather permitting, the ramp from N.C. 109/Randolph Street to I-85 South will close from 8 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday to work on the bridge near the end of the ramp.
A signed detour will direct drivers to take I-85 North to Finch Farm Road at Exit 106 to access I-85 South.
Drivers should be cautions near the work zone and allow extra travel time to reach their destinations safely.
