BURLINGTON – A section of an Alamance County road is scheduled to close this weekend while contract crews work on a pedestrian bridge project.
Glen Raven Road is set to close between North Park Avenue and Cadiz Street from 7 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday, weather permitting. The closure will enable crews to safely erect a pedestrian bridge over the roadway as part of the expansion of the Glen Raven manufacturing facility.
A signed detour will be in place along North Park Avenue and Chestnut, Durham and Cadiz streets.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in this area and allow a little extra time for the detour.
