RURAL HALL – State transportation contractors plan to close a highway exit ramp in Forsyth County overnight twice this weekend as part of ongoing work on the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
The ramp from U.S. 52 North onto N.C. 65 (Exit 118) is set to close from 10 Friday and Saturday nights until 5 the following mornings so crews can install pipe across the ramp.
Message boards will be in place to direct traffic to the next interchange, Westinghouse Road at Exit 120, to turn around and take U.S. 52 South back to N.C. 65.
Drivers should watch out for the crews working in this area during these times and allow a little more time because of the detour.
