THOMASVILLE – A pair of ramps along Interstate 85 in Davidson County are scheduled to close overnight this week as part of ongoing pavement rehabilitation work.
Weather permitting, the ramp from Lake Road onto I-85 North is set to close from 8 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday and again during the same hours the following night. A detour will be in place following I-85 South to U.S. 64 at Exit 96 to access I-85 North.
Exit 103, from northbound I-85 to N.C. 109 (Randolph Street) is also set to close overnight Thursday and Friday during the same hours of the first ramp closure. Drivers will continue to Finch Farm Road at Exit 106 and head back on I-85 South to access N.C. 109.
Drivers should be mindful of the crews working in this area and set aside extra time for the detours.
