WINSTON-SALEM – A section of a Forsyth County road is scheduled to close for 300 days starting this week for construction on the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway.
Davis Road is set to close just north of Old Walkertown Road at 7 a.m. Friday, and is expected to remain closed at this location until late April, 2021.
A signed detour following Old Hollow, Dippen and Old Walkertown roads will allow drivers to access Davis Road on either side of the work zone during the closure.
Drivers should be mindful of crews at work in this area and allow extra time for the detour.
