LEXINGTON – A Davidson County bridge is closing during daytime hours for a couple weeks while crews perform maintenance work.
The Albemarle Street bridge over the railroad tracks near N.C. 8/Cotton Grove Road is scheduled to close from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday through July 8.
As a detour, traffic will follow Old Linwood Road to Brown Street to access N.C. 8.
Drivers should watch out for crews near the work zone and plan ahead for the detour.
