HIGH POINT – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close lanes on the Interstate 85 Business exit ramps for I-74 and Brentwood Street on Thursday.
One of three lanes on the northbound and southbound ramps are scheduled to be closed from about 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., giving crews room to safely remove ground and overhead signs displaying the outgoing U.S. 311 highway designation near the Brentwood Street exits.
Drivers taking these exits off I-85 Business during this time frame should slow down and be mindful of the crews at work near the travel lanes.
