Fox Resumes Role on N.C. Board of Transportation

RALEIGH — Michael S. Fox, of Greensboro, has been reappointed to the N.C. Board of Transportation.

He was reappointed by Gov. Roy Cooper and will continue to represent Division 7, which is composed of Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Orange and Rockingham counties. He also retains his status as board chair.

Fox served on the Board of Transportation from 2010-13 and returned in 2017 to begin his current stint. He joins 19 other board members who represent the N.C. Department of Transportation's 14 highway divisions and six areas of statewide interest and will work with them and NCDOT staff to make decisions about transportation policies and priorities.

The governor appoints members representing the 14 highway divisions, while the speaker of the N.C. House and the N.C. Senate president pro-tempore each appoint three at-large members.

A partner with Tuggle Duggins P.A. law practice in Greensboro, Fox brings more than 25 years of legal experience to the board. He has been listed in "Best Lawyers in America" in land use and zoning since 2007.

Fox is a graduate of Appalachian State University and the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Law.
