GREENSBORO – City contract crews plan to close a portion of Forbes Drive in southwest Greensboro for a couple days to install a new water line.
Access from Gate City Boulevard to the southern portion of Forbes Drive is expected to be closed from 9 a.m. Thursday until 4 p.m. Friday. The work is weather dependent and subject to change.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to follow Gate City Boulevard, Groometown Road and Bowman Avenue to access this section of Forbes Drive.
Drivers should be mindful of the crews working in this location and anticipate the detour while the closure is in place.
