MEBANE – A section of Mebane Rogers Road is scheduled to close for the weekend for work on the N.C. 119 Bypass project.
Contract crews plan to close the road near its junction with Woodlawn Road from 9 a.m. Friday through Sunday evening so they can level the roadway to tie in with the bypass.
A signed detour will be in place directing traffic to follow Cooks Mill Road, White Level Road, N.C. 119 and West Stagecoach Road/Mebane Rogers Road to access points on either side of the closure.
Drivers should be cautious near the work zone and allow extra time for the detour.
