HIGH POINT – Contract crews plan to close the southern end of Kendale Road for about two weeks as part of the ongoing project to widen Skeet Club Road.
Kendale Road is scheduled to be closed at Skeet Club Road from 6 a.m. this Wednesday through the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 21.
N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will tie in water lines during this time, but Colonial Pipeline will be performing maintenance work that will dictate if the closure ends early or extends beyond two weeks.
A signed detour will be in place following Skeet Club Road and Johnson Street/Sandy Ridge Road during the closure.
Drivers should continue to be mindful of crews working near the roadway and entering and exiting the work zone in this area and factor the detour into their commutes.
