HARMONY – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to have an Iredell County bridge closed for the next 10 days.
The bridge on Rimrock Road over Kinder Creek closed in both directions today at 1 p.m. This closure will allow bridge maintenance crews to safely perform necessary repairs. Work is expected to be complete by Nov. 20.
Traffic will follow a detour using Shaw Road, Kinder Road, N.C. 901/East Memorial Highway to access points on either side of the closure.
Drivers should use caution and expect delays while using the detour route.
