RALEIGH – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will open a new license plate agency (LPA) on Dec. 3 in Lincoln County.
The agency will be located at 2683 East Main Street in Lincolnton in the Carolina Shopping Center.
The LPA will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, except on state holidays. Matthew Craig will be the agency operator.
The new agency replaces a previous agency in Lincolnton that closed in January 2019.
LPAs offer vehicle registration services and title transactions, as well as vehicle license plate renewals, replacement tags and duplicate registrations. Currently, there are 129 license plate agencies operating across North Carolina. To contact the LPA, call 704-735-0018.
