CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews tonight will continue a $16.3 million project to improve 22 bridges along Interstate 277, requiring several ramp closures.
Crews will be working on the following ramps on various nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Monday morning, Dec. 21, weather permitting:
- Ramps to the inner loop from 11th Street, U.S. 74 West, Stonewall Street, and E. Third Street
- Ramps from the inner loop to U.S. 74 East and E. Fourth Street, Stonewall Street, and South Boulevard
- Ramps to the outer loop from South Boulevard and E. Fourth Street
- From the outer loop to U.S. 74 East and Kenilworth Avenue
