BURGAW – The Burgaw NCDMV Driver License Office at 781 U.S. Highway 17 South will reopen to the public on Monday, Jan. 11, following several months of temporary closure due to the COVID pandemic and its impact on staffing.
It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays with COVID counter measures in place. That includes employees and customers wearing masks inside the office, and customer appointments required to limit the number of people inside the office at the same time.
Customers can make their appointment at skiptheline.ncdot.gov
starting late this Friday afternoon. The Burgaw location will offer all driver license and State ID-related services except regular road tests, which remain suspended statewide for health safety reasons.
Customers are reminded that several license and ID-related services can be conducted online, such as driver license/REAL ID renewals, and ordering driver license and state ID card duplicates. Those services are available at www.MyNCDMV.gov
