FAYETTEVILLE – There will be a temporary closure of the All American Freeway on Tuesday evening to allow for a power line relocation over the highway.
The closure will take place after 7 p.m. just north of its Raeford Road exit. The closure will affect both directions and last about 15 minutes.
Drivers should expect delays, slow down and follow the instructions of the contractor, with assistance from law enforcement, which will be controlling traffic while the cable is hoisted over the highway.
The utility relocation is needed for the upcoming Raeford Road median project. Construction on the first section Old Raeford Road to Bunce Road is scheduled to start this fall.
