HIGH POINT – A weekend closure is planned as part of the ongoing project to improve Skeet Club Road north of High Point.
A section of Skeet Club Road between Orchard Knob Lane and Johnson Street is set to close from 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday so contract crews can safely install two 66-inch pipes under the road.
During this time, a signed detour will be in place directing drivers to use Johnson Street and Old Mill Road to access points on either side of the closure.
Drivers should watch out for crews entering and exiting the work zone and expect the possibility of delays due to the detour.
