CASAR – A N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close a Cleveland County road for about six months.
Beginning June 7, Pruett Road will be closed at both access points from N.C. 10 and Wes Cook Road while the contractor replaces the old bridge over Bald Knob Creek with a new structure. The road is expected to reopen by Nov. 19.
Traffic will be diverted to a signed detour route along N.C. 10.
Motorists should use caution while using the detour and plan for delays.
