LEXINGTON – A section of road in Davidson County is set to close next week while crews replace a failed drainage pipe.
Crews plan to close Palmer Road near Holloway Church Road, south of Lexington, at 9 a.m. Monday and expect the section to open by Friday or earlier, weather permitting.
While the closure is in place, drivers should use Holloway Church and Parks roads to access points on either side of the work zone.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in this area and factor the detour into their commutes.
