RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close off access to Capital Center Drive from Jones Franklin Road beginning at 1 a.m. Monday.
This closure, which is part of the Interstate 440 Improvements Project, is necessary to accommodate construction of the new exit ramp from I-440 East to Jones Franklin Road (Exit 1C).
Upon closure, drivers will need to use Denise Drive to access Capital Center Drive. The two roads were recently connected. After several months, Denise Drive will be renamed Capital Center Drive.
