CHINA GROVE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will be closing a Rowan County road for several days next week to replace a storm drain, weather permitting.
From Aug. 23-27, Corriher Springs Road will be closed at its intersection with Millbridge Road while crews replace a failed storm drain culvert under the roadway. This work is necessary to prevent damage to the roadway and adjacent properties. If rescheduled, work will be performed Aug. 30 – Sept. 3.
Traffic will be detoured to Corriher Springs Road, Concordia Church Road, N.C. 152 East and Millbridge Road.
Drivers should observe signage and use caution while using the detour.
