BOILING SPRINGS – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a section of a Cleveland County road for seven months.
Starting Monday at 8 a.m., Skinner Road will be closed in both directions between Winners Circle and College Avenue. This closure will allow crews to replace the bridge over the Beaverdam Creek Tributary. The project is expected to be complete by April 1, 2022.
Traffic will be detoured to College Avenue, Old Boiling Springs Road, Webb Road, and Beaver Dam Church Road back to Skinner Road.
Drivers are advised to use caution and plan for delays due to the detour.
