CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close lanes on I-85 North between mile markers 27 – 28 for maintenance work, starting at 8 p.m.
Crews will close the two right lanes until 7 a.m. Saturday, then a single right lane closure will be in place through 5 p.m.
Work is weather permitting and subject to change. Drivers should remain alert approaching the work zone, reduce speed and prepare for possible delays.
