WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors have implemented a new traffic pattern at a Forsyth County intersection.
Germanton Road (N.C. 8) has been shifted approximately 400 feet northwest at its intersection with N.C. 66 (Old Hollow Road). This traffic shift is part of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
The traffic shift will be in its final pattern on Saturday. Work is expected to be complete by Monday.
Motorists should avoid driving through the area if possible and expect delays.
