From midnight tonight until 5 a.m. Saturday, I-440 West loop to eastbound Western Boulevard (Exit 2A, Raleigh) will be closed for pavement repairs. This detour is the same as above.
From midnight Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday, the eastbound Western Boulevard ramp onto I-440 West will be closed for paving operations.
This detour will lead drivers to take the loop onto I-440 East to Hillsborough Street (Exit 3) to turn around and get onto I-440 West.
Motorists need to pay attention near the work zone and anticipate needing extra time for the detours.
