LEWISVILLE – Starting next week, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will close a Forsyth County road for one month for a construction project.
Beginning Nov. 17 at 8 a.m., both directions of River Ridge Road near Vienna Dozier Road will be closed. The closure will allow the contractor to safely construct a headwall on the inlet side of a pipe damaged by a storm. Work is expected to be complete by Dec. 15.
A detour will be in place for the duration of the closure directing traffic onto Vienna Dozier Road and back to River Ridge Road.
Motorists should drive slowly while approaching the work zone and expect some delays due to the detour.
