ROSEBORO – A crossroads in Roseboro will be upgraded into an all-way stop next week to reduce the risk of crashes.
The all-way will be installed Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the intersection of Pinewood Street and South East/Claudes Drag Road. Drivers on Pinewood Street now must stop.
The N.C. Department of Transportation is making this change after a review of crash and traffic data and a field investigation. To learn more about all-way stops and why they are installed where they are warranted, visit this NCDOT webpage.
The change will made during non-peak driving hours sometime on Wednesday, so drivers should slow down and be careful of workers and flaggers when traveling through this area Wednesday. The installation is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
