WINSTON-SALEM – Starting this weekend, an N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close lanes of Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
From Jan. 30 - Feb. 3 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, two of three lanes of I-40 East will be closed from west of Peters Creek Parkway to east of Peters Creek Parkway.
Motorists should remain cautious when approaching the work zone and plan accordingly for delays.
