Ramp, Lane on Craven County Highway Closed for Updates

​NEW BERN – More improvements to a Craven County interchange are scheduled for Thursday. 

The following locations are set to close for milling, resurfacing and paint striping tomorrow:

• A section of the left lane of U.S. 70 West near the U.S. 17 North, N.C. 55 East exit ramp (417B)
  

  • This area will close at 6 a.m.
    

• U.S. 17 South / U.S. 70 West / N.C. 55 West ramp back to U.S. 70 West from Front Street
  

  • The ramp will close once the above work is complete.  

The closures are expected to be complete by 5 p.m. the same day.

Message boards alerting the public to the closures are posted in the area.​
